My practice is rooted in ancestral ties to lands in Mexico and the early teachings of my grandfather. This foundation is shaped by over fifteen years of direct relationship and apprenticeship with elders, including direct transmission in the Andean (Q'ero) and Wixárika cosmovisions.
Parallel to this ceremonial lineage is a decade of 1:1 vocal study in Sufi music and Hindustani Raga. My work is further shaped by Zen monastic practice, wilderness initiation, and over twenty years of organizational and community leadership.
